Happy Summer Holidays Everyone,
Firstly to everyone lucky enough to be off for the next 6 weeks, enjoy your break and if to everyone hopefully your getting a holiday somewhere nice so have a great time.
As you will have seen on our front page we will be having a break during the last week of July / first week of August to allow us to catch up on some maintenance work and allow the staff to have a well deserved break
Although there will be contractors onsite the centre will not be open to the public during this period.
Bits and Pieces Going On At Quinborne.
Our Luncheon Club is up, running, and more popular than ever and along with our Bowling Group, Tablet Training & Movie Club.
Our social club is also proving incredibly popular, running on a Thursday morning between 10.00am - 12.00pm, it's a great place to meet new friends and learn about the local area and community.
We have also started some great new groups including Painting with The Masters, Mental Health & Wellbeing Through Yoga a Sewing / Knitting Group and a Wednesday afternoon sports club.
We also offer one-on-one tablet and laptop training; just give us a call and we’ll be more than willing to help.
Also remember that if you need to speak to a local councillor or M.P they run their monthly advice surgeries from Quinborne and more information regarding those can be found here.
Several of our new groups are being run in conjunction with the National Lottery and are heavily subsidised for more information click here or feel free to contact us at the centre.
The café has recently been refurbished so why not stop by and grab and a drink and a slice of cake, or even a freshly cooked breakfast. The cafe is open 9.00am - 1.00pm, Monday – Friday and between 9.00am – 12.00pm on Saturday mornings.
Coach trips are also back for 2025 with the first one being Chester in February and at the end of the year we will be taking a taking in the sights of the Cardiff Christmas Market, more information on the trips can be found in our Events Calendar here.
Gary is back as our regular driver and this year our coach trips will be in conjunction with, Kings Norton Coaches.

As you can see, we have loads planned for the next few months so please keep checking back to the website and over the next couple of weeks we will be publishing our updated activity schedule and when the courses mentioned above will be started and how to enrol on them.
As you will have noticed and with your help we've returned to the selling of bric-a-brac, books, DVDs, and cd’s, and we must say a big thank you to all of you out there that have donated items to us, as always, they are very appreciated and very welcome.
